Not knowing that much about Salvadorian cousine, I stop by Mario Sabino's, 5404 at Lemmon Ave, very simple decor, with a nice patio and a really "happy" staff, it most be because of the music they were playing. I ordered the sampler plate: Pupusas filed with cheese and a special salad on top, a delicious tamal filled with chicken and potatoes, chicahrron, black beans, sweet fried plantains and rice with black beans. Oh Lord, it was delicious, a real party in your moth, different flavors, interesting mixes and no, it doesn't taste like a mexican food, which by the way they offered as well, and I need to tell you that the salsas are really good.
Try it, nice, different option for lunch.
