Bee Enchilería is the new Chipotle?

maybe the new Wich Wich? maybe both. Why? Here y
ou also can build enchiladas your way with extensive choices of tortillas, fillings and sauces. You start filling your own order on printed cards with all the options, pay and then they will call you to pick it up. I order my first one with corn tortilla, carnitas (pork meat)and Chipotle cream, my second one was on Blue corn tortilla, with chicken tinga (marinated chicken breast) and covered with poblano sauce. When you order is ready they call your name and you can add toppings such as tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro, jalapeños, onion, you named. Sides are good, beans or rice. I paid $10 per two enchiladas, a side of Mexican rice and a drink. Casual, fun and really taste is a great addition to the Bishop Arts District at
202 West Davis. From the creators of Monica aqui y alla, this is a new fast-casual concept where enchiladas are made your way with fresh, natural, and organic products. Great concept, great flavors. Probably Mc Donald's is already thinking in buying this concept as well. Let's wait.

Tacos El Güero - the real thing

I have been living in Dallas for more than 12 years and I just find out this place courtesy of my colleagues. For my surprise, those are the real tacos, nothing but great ingredients, and no Tex-Mex seasoning. I had Steak, Suadero (skirt), tripa, cabeza and lengua (I'm not going to translate them so keep want it to try). Also you can ask for chorizo, pastor and a combination. Very important component: the tortillas, the right size (small) and texture. And the salsas are a hit. You also can ask for a torta of any of the meats or "gringas", flour tortilla, meat, cheese and other tortilla on top.
Any way, 4500 Bryan St is the address. Be aware that there are very few stools and you are eating right in the kitchen, which it make it more authentic. If is your first time ask for your courtesy taco, "el de prueba" so you can taste it and decide if you want to have 5 or 7!
