Bee Enchilería is the new Chipotle?

maybe the new Wich Wich? maybe both. Why? Here y
ou also can build enchiladas your way with extensive choices of tortillas, fillings and sauces. You start filling your own order on printed cards with all the options, pay and then they will call you to pick it up. I order my first one with corn tortilla, carnitas (pork meat)and Chipotle cream, my second one was on Blue corn tortilla, with chicken tinga (marinated chicken breast) and covered with poblano sauce. When you order is ready they call your name and you can add toppings such as tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro, jalapeños, onion, you named. Sides are good, beans or rice. I paid $10 per two enchiladas, a side of Mexican rice and a drink. Casual, fun and really taste is a great addition to the Bishop Arts District at
202 West Davis. From the creators of Monica aqui y alla, this is a new fast-casual concept where enchiladas are made your way with fresh, natural, and organic products. Great concept, great flavors. Probably Mc Donald's is already thinking in buying this concept as well. Let's wait.

Company Cafe. Natural. fresh. Fare

That's the way they describe them selfs. They just opened last week in 2217 Greenville Avenue and they offer great tasting comfort food with a healthy, organic twist like grass-fed beef, bison, or gluten-free stuff. Even that the pics don't reflect the healthy aspect of it I can tell you that even the sweet potatoes fries with cheese, bacon and jalapeños, doesn't taste greasy at all, big size burgers built to your taste or the traditional chicken fried steak served with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes makes you feel filled and lighter, simply because the waitress tell you that and based on her figure you most want to believe it. Nice atmosphere, nice people, fare price. Give it a try.

They claim fresh, local ingredients, changing menu all the time. Great place, nice casual decoration, great fresh drinks!
This time I try their burger, perfectly done, fresh bread, no greasy at all you can really taste their fresh ingredients.
Price, average for lunch. Highly recommended for Sunday brunch, great mimosas or belinis why not? then a nice walk around between art galleries and unique stores. 614 W Davis St Dallas, TX 75208(214) 943-1883

Old but taste tradition - Macs BBQ

Since 1955, at 3933 main st. this restaurant opened and the time stopped right there.
Attended by it's owners once you get there you can not explain why it's been around for how long, but once they greet you the experience its great, smile faces serve the freshly smoked brisket, ribs, turkey and sausage (try the one with jalapeños), and gigantic sides of onion rings, french fries, etc.
Price it's the same, quality of the food is right. You should give it a try, after all you can said, I've been there.

Smash Burger

For now, the best kind a fast food mixed with gourmet burger want a be, simple menu, great taste, great prices.
2 sizes 1/3 and 1/2 pounds makes me think in Fuddruckers.
I try already the one with mushrooms and swiss, very simple, very tasty. But if you want more flavor, the Jalapeño one is a great option, with guacamole, tomato and lettuce. Sweet potatoes are great because they mixed with salt and rosemary how can not be great?
Of course you have french fries as an option. Something interesting, you can ad a fried egg to your choice of burger.
Finally the service, very friendly and super fast. A large staff y making sure you don't need anything else.
The address: McKinney Ave. & N. Pearl St. right in front of the Crescent.

Malai Kitchen: add some spice to your life

An other new restaurant in Dallas, why not? An other one in the West Village? Why not.
The concept for Malai is a Thai and Vietnamese cuisine mix, it is a small menu but it takes care of every taste, from traditional plates like coconut soup to Pad Thai, curries, fish, salads. I tasted the Grilled Prawns with cilantro rice and grapefruit salad. Mild flavor, exotic combination, really nice for $16, not bad for a casual diner.
The place is nice, modern interior design, simple lines. They are just missing one thing: the music.
Go to Thailand and Vietnam without passport, go to Malai.
